At Imagine Us,
we are rooted by our ancestors, our faiths, our families, and each other.

our purpose

We make the world more just, equitable & sustainable by helping changemakers and their organizations illuminate their path, release their potential, and pursue their boldest dreams.

The “us” in Imagine Us includes all those who believe a better world is within reach - a world where all people experience belonging & dignity, where fundamental needs are met, communities thrive and we care for the planet and each other as if future generations depended on it.

our story

In January 2020, on the eve of the pandemic, six independent consultants with thriving practices came together to explore a potential collaboration.  In recognition of the increasingly complex needs of social justice-minded leaders and organizations, and the importance of learning and practicing in community, we formed a new entity - Imagine Us.

These six partners - Joe Alvarez, Ja Young Ahn, Michele Berry, Kimberly Freeman Brown, Allison Porter, and Tony Richard - found a home with each other and invited along a growing network of independent consultants who share our values, principles, and professional ethics.  Together we are building a consultant community designed to meet the needs of leaders, organizations and the communities they serve.

our community

The equity-based consultants who are a part of the Imagine Us community bring experience, curiosity, and optimism.  Our varied experiences, skills, and styles allow us the flexibility and capacity to meet our clients where they are.

We believe in the power of Possibility, Community, and Liberation.

We rigorously pursue being Transformative, Equity-centered, and Trustworthy.

At Imagine Us, we are rooted by our ancestors, our faiths, our families, and each other.  This powerful foundation supports us to be fully present and attuned to the realities and needs of our clients.
